There's a town near ours named "Fortuna." This is a most unfortunate error. It's not as bad as running a newspaper headline about a Public Hearing and leaving the 'L' out, but it's an expensive mistake and someone is going to have to pay for it. I'm glad we got a picture of it before a new, corrected sign went up. Thanks, Mike!

Wow! That's definitely worse than a one-day newspaper typo. Perhaps not as bad as a misspelled tattoo.
For the record, a KHUM listener (escaped name) sent us that photo. Office-wide chuckling ensued.

There's almost an exact duplicate of that sign on Myrtle Avenue, Eureka. Different title, same design. Must have been made by the same people?
